Cisco Dental accepts every dental insurance plan and files your claim for you. We are a fee-for-service practice, out-of-network with all plans. For patients without insurance, we offer an in-house wellness plan — details by appointment.
How insurance works at the office
Three things worth knowing up front.
1. We accept all dental insurance plans.
Cisco Dental is a fee-for-service practice and is out-of-network with all dental insurance plans. We still accept your insurance, and we file the claim for you as a courtesy. Your insurance pays its portion directly, and you are responsible for any difference between our fee and the insurance reimbursement.
2. Why out-of-network can still be a good outcome.
Out-of-network does not mean we cannot see you, and it does not mean you cannot use your benefits. It means our treatment decisions are based on what is right for the patient — not on the fee schedules set by an insurance carrier. Many patients find that the value of unhurried, prevention-anchored care outweighs the network difference.
3. We will estimate your portion before treatment.
Have your insurance card handy and call (254) 442-2000. The front-desk team will look up your benefits, give you an estimate of what your plan will pay, and tell you the expected patient portion before your visit. Final amounts depend on deductibles, annual maximums, frequency limits, and other plan details — we explain every line of the final statement.
For patients without dental insurance
Cisco Dental offers an in-house wellness plan.
If you do not have dental insurance, Cisco Dental offers an in-house dental wellness plan — a membership-based program offered directly by the practice that bundles preventive care and provides member pricing on other services. Membership in the wellness plan is a relationship between you and Cisco Dental.
Important disclosure: The in-house wellness plan is not dental insurance. It is a non-insurance membership offered directly by the practice. It is not a discount health-care program under Texas Insurance Code Ch. 1102. It does not coordinate with insurance, does not replace insurance, and does not constitute coverage.

Cisco Dental gives you cost estimates before treatment begins and explains every line of every bill. If something needs more time or a different plan, we say so. If a treatment is not needed today, we tell you that too.
